Vocational Training Council (VTC) is Hong Kong’s largest provider of vocational and professional education and training (VPET), offering practical, industry-led programmes from diploma, higher diploma to bachelor’s and master’s degree levels. We equip learners with applied skills and recognised qualifications that support Hong Kong’s evolving talent needs and innovation-driven development.

Which industries, business sizes, or specific client needs do you serve?

We serve secondary school leavers, working adults seeking upskilling or reskilling, and employers across sectors such as IT, design, engineering, business, hospitality, health and life sciences, childcare, elderly and community services. VTC also supports enterprises of all sizes with customised corporate training and Continuing Professional Education (CPE) solutions aligned with their business and talent strategies.

How long have you been in operation, and are there any notable achievements you’d like to highlight?

Established in 1982, VTC has over four decades of experience in nurturing VPET talent. Our students and graduates consistently excel in international competitions and industry awards, showcasing the strength of our applied learning approach and close collaboration with industry.

How can members of this community potentially work with you?

IAB HK members can partner with VTC on co-created training, guest lectures, internships and real-world projects in digital marketing, adtech, data analytics and content creation. We also welcome knowledge-sharing and bespoke corporate training to support organisations’ digital transformation and talent development.

Any interesting trivia about your company culture, founding story, or mission?

Beyond classrooms, VTC runs its own symphony orchestra and choir, and drives Community Connect projects with NGOs and partners. Together with our ESG and green campus efforts, these initiatives let students apply VPET skills in real settings while contributing to education, sustainability, health, inclusion, culture and innovation.
