IAB Hong Kong Unveils New Committees
Brian Hui from HSBC takes the helm as Chairman
Charting a new horizon for the largest digital community in HK

[22 Jan 2025] IAB Hong Kong (IAB HK) successfully hosted its annual general meeting on 15 January at Meta’s office, where over 100 top marketers gathered to witness the inauguration of the new Executive and Working Committees and the recognition of outstanding members.

In 2024, IAB HK delivered a comprehensive program of impactful events spanning brand marketing, adtech, commerce, content marketing, measurement, and education. These initiatives attracted over 2,500 participants and generated more than 300,000 online views. Following our strategic pillars of "Be Seen," "Be Recognised," and "Be Inspired," key achievements included the IAB HK Digital Awards 2023, C24 Conference, The Leaders Lounge interview series, cutting-edge adtech publications, and numerous specialized industry events. The association marked another milestone by launching its first-ever dedicated pavilion at HKTDC's MarketingPulse 2024, further strengthening our members' position in the digital landscape.

 

IAB HK Announces New Leadership and Board Members for 2025

IAB HKong Kong is proud to announce the election of Brian Hui (HSBC) as the new Chairman of the association, with Tania Lau (HKT) and Arthur Chan (Snowball) stepping into the roles as Vice Chairmen. Continuing their contributions on the board are Cecilia Yau (PwC China), Kevin Huang (SCMP), Janet Lee (Google HK), Anita Lam (LinkedIn), Melissa Lau (Meta), Agnes Lung (Uni-China Group), and Victor Cheng.

IAB HK also extends a warm welcome to new board members Tina Chao (McDonald’s), Helen Cheung (Omnicom Media Group), Roger Li (Yahoo), and Ivan Leung (Aloha Group).

This dynamic team unites the brightest minds from advertisers, agencies, technology providers, and media, further strengthening IAB HK’s mission to drive innovation, collaboration, and leadership in the digital advertising and marketing industries.

 

As we step into 2025, IAB HK’s new Chairman, Brian Hui, has outlined a bold vision to establish IAB HK as Asia's leading digital association, focused on driving both "growth" and "re-growth" in the ever-evolving digital landscape. The 2025 strategy centers on three key pillars: rapidly seizing market opportunities, expanding the digital mindset beyond technology, and deepening community engagement to better serve our members. A top priority is fostering a thriving creator economy ecosystem, leveraging IAB HK’s unique position as a bridge between China and the West.

By advancing key initiatives, promoting trust and adaptability, and emphasizing continuous education, IAB HK aims to empower its members and partners to embrace digital transformation. Together, we are committed to working efficiently, collaborating closely, and driving innovation to shape the future of digital marketing.
