IAB HK 2024 Apprentice Program for Employers

IAB HK is excited to announce the highly anticipated return of the IAB HK Apprentice Program 2024! This program provides exceptional opportunities for practical work experience and comprehensive training in the dynamic field of digital marketing. 

The Apprentice Program aims to equip university students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the industry, providing a wide array of offerings, including experience sharing, mentorship programs, career workshops, and self-learning training.

We invite all corporates to join us as employers and actively contribute to the development of young digital talents (non-members are also welcome). With over 100 available placements spanning various industries such as digital marketing, data analysis, innovation, and e-commerce, there is ample opportunity to find the perfect fit for your organization.

Let undergraduates experience the real work of digital marketers and bring in young creative mindsets to your workplace from May to Aug 2024.

Program details

• University Career Workshop: Get the inside tips and know-how from IAB HK to get students' foot into the Digital Marketing industry.
• Work Experience: Build solid work experience from a range of choice of industry-leading companies across Digital Marketing disciplines.
• Experience Sharing: Hear from seasoned digital marketers who will share personal experiences and provide exclusive insights into functional roles of the industry. 
• Mentorship / Social Gathering: Supported by IAB HK Working Committees, providing students with industry insights and career advice throughout their journey. Small gatherings will be held to facilitate networking.
• Self-learning training: Backed by four global industry leaders, including Google, LinkedIn, Meta, and The Trade Desk, our program offers a comprehensive range of self-learning courses, covering a diverse range of topics such as data analysis, digital advertising, and the effective utilization of marketing software, among others.
• Certification: Students will receive a certificate from IAB HK upon completing the program.
• Salary: Basic salary or higher will be granted during the work experience period.

• IAB HK will provide your interns with comprehensive training, informative talks, and valuable experience sharing sessions. This will help shape their digital foundation and equip them with the necessary skills to excel in the industry.

Note: Providing job descriptions earlier increases the likelihood of finding the best candidates.

Responsibilities of IAB HK

• Program promotion to all local universities and recruitment of students
• Arranging training, experience sharing, mentorship, workshops, and social gathering for students
• Overall program coordination

Responsibilities of Employers

• Employers will be providing internship placements between May and August 2024. Companies have the flexibility to offer multiple internship positions based on their requirements and capacity.
• Students' interview and selection 
• Each student will be given an internship fee of at least minimum wage or higher, and the employers will pay directly to the students. 
• Employers are responsible for evaluating the performance of the students and providing feedback through a survey. Upon satisfactory performance of 50% scores or above, program participants will receive a completion certificate from IAB HK, acknowledging their successful completion of the internship.
